Meet Our Speaker:

Dr. Li earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology in 1999 from the Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, followed by postdoctoral training at Yale University (1999–2004). With over 20 years of experience in cancer molecular biology, Dr. Li has held faculty positions at the University of Louisville, Cleveland Clinic, and currently at Baylor College of Medicine, where he is also a CPRIT Scholar and a member of the Dan L Duncan Comprehensive Cancer Center.

A Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Dr. Li has authored over 210 peer-reviewed publications and received numerous honors, including the Achievement Award from the Society of American Asian Scientists in Cancer Research. His research focuses on tumor suppressor p53, mutant-specific cancer immunotherapies, DNA-encoded antibodies and vaccines, and environmental carcinogenesis. Dr. Li leads national and international collaborations aimed at developing novel strategies for cancer prevention and treatment.
